Remedy Alpine Vision -

Care for veterans and warriors by utilizing the environment of the mountains to facilitate backcountry experiences. Infuse comradeship and solitude with personal challenge and achievement. Stand witness to the healing powers of the outdoors!

Remedy Alpine was born of the passion for taking care of our nation’s veterans and warriors. Dave Joslin and Eric Collier met in 2013 through the Wounded Warrior Project, shortly after meeting they realized that they both shared a passion for taking care of veterans and finding peace and solitude in the backcountry. From this early bond, Remedy Alpine came to life with this shared vision.

“Thank you Remedy Alpine!!! I gained the confidence to conquer and thoroughly enjoy hiking Crow Pass with fellow vets. Thanks to Dave, Luke, Eric and others, I truly got to “work the mountain and rest my mind.”

For those that don’t feel up to an overnight hiking experience YET, join us every Wed at 0500. May seem super early, but what a way to welcome the day! You won’t regret it!”

“I’ve been on 2 trips with Remedy Alpine and they were wonderful experiences. The last trip gave me plenty of time to reflect and put things into perspective in some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen in my life. Im new to Alaska and don’t really have anyone up here but making a journey like this with a seriously solid group of fellow veterans made me feel like part of a community. This company truly embodies the values they preach: Veterans helping veterans, and healing with their backcountry trips. I’m looking forward to the next adventure!”

“I have lived in Alaska for 20 years and have only enjoyed day hikes with family and friends. I recently met David, founder of Remedy Alpine, and retired US Army veteran, at a local VA info fair, who introduced me to Remedy Alpine and their mission to help veterans heal from service related trauma and stress adventuring the outdoors and backcountry.

I was invited to join the team trekking through Crow Pass, a 23 (or so) mile trail from Girdwood to Eagle River, Alaska. I am so very glad I agreed. I was welcomed, equipped, and accompanied by professionals of exceptional confidence and generosity. I gained a wealth of experience but even better friends.

Thank you Dave, Eric, Luke, and friends. God bless 'merica!”

“Wanted to say thanks to Remedy Alpine for the amazing experience on the Crow Pass Trail. That was the most fun I’ve had in a while. It was great BS’ing with fellow vets while also learning valuable backcountry lessons that I’ll get to share with my family. I highly recommend adventuring with Remedy Alpine to any vet that’s looking to add more to their daily lives. I can’t wait to head out with them again! See y’all on the 9/11 hike.”
